Holidays

Thanksgiving. Is there really any other way to describe it but Delicious! Thankfully, there is usually about a month between the delectable turkey holiday and the junk-food induced, mint infused X-mas, so I have time to re calibrate my eating habits for the occasion!

I regret to inform you all that nothing is new. I was busy with NaNoWriMo (and I completed it as well) and now I'm within the confines of a revision process. I am hell-bent on finishing (actually, really finishing) this tale of post-apocalyptic shenanigans and I can't let anything get in my way!

Luckily for me, I never had internet at home to distract me, AND I got all my X-mas shopping done. (Be warned - I can't afford gifts for everyone regardless of my desire to do so. The gift list was cut to a nub this year. Sorry. If you're lucky I can afford stamps and send you a card.)

So. Not like anyone check this anyway, but in case you do:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I hope your spirits are bright, and your cheeks rosy and all your shopping only a minimal nightmare! :)

It's only been... how long?

Well! It is about that time again!
I am gearing up for another November! That of course, among finding a Halloween Costume, paying bills, and finding ways to go on the internet to do all of these things!
Huzzah!
You may also be pleased to note that i am the ML (Municipal Liaison) For the Massachusetts: Berkshire region of the program. That basically means that I get to put events together and plan for some wild and rockin' writing times!
w00t!

But for now, I am going to update this lovely blog for use, and get to working on some things!

Adieu my friends!

Envy

My sin for the day is Envy.
Not wrath, or greed or gluttony.
I see the green teeth snap and grind,
the green tongue flicks
a snake of green, a cord, a noose
That foul serpent.

My sin for the day is Envy.
I have dreams untouched
as if waiting their turn in my life
just past the mediocrity
the have-tos, pay-thats, and work
I watch others.

My sin for the day is Envy.
I would have a plastic home
made of insubstantial means
As long as one dream
A vision, a word-on-paper fantasy
Was mine alone.

My sin for the day is Envy.
We all think of others
of their luck and our loss
Oh how I would want
your car, your house, your job
Just This Once.
